“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Zoli & Tanja

Zoli and Tanja live in Sombor and are the leaders of Sombor Christian Fellowship, Serbia. They have two young children, Viktorija and Anastazija. Zoltan, or Zoli as he is known, leads the ministry to men and teenagers in the church and regularly speaks at the Sunday service and prepares material for use in the weekly home groups. Tanja leads the women’s work.

Since unemployment is high in Sombor and there are still many refugees, they are involved in visiting people and distributing humanitarian aid food parcels. They have noticed a sense of apathy among many people, and are passionate to see people experience the love of Jesus and learn to share with others.

Bryan and Ami

Bryan & Amarilis

For Bryan and Amarilis the transition seems to be finally complete. Their recent 16,500 mile trip last year to the USA and the Dominican Republic brought an end to their working with Simply the Story and The God's Story Project as full-time staff members. Their new organisation, Declare International, is now launched and, apart from grandparent duties (in between trips) their first big trip is to the South Seas.

The country in the world with the largest number of people groups without any Scripture portion is Papua New Guinea (PNG). Bryan & Amarilis are currently helping a major translation and ministry project aiming to bring 33 Bible-less peoples a copy of Luke's Gospel and the JESUS film in each of the 33 heart languages (mother tongues) of these PNG tribes by the end of 2026. As a next stage of this venture they expect to travel to Madang province (in PNG), to discuss strategies with a partnership involved in oral translation work, and also with government leaders who are keen to help facilitate this project. Follow along on their journey here

Prayers appreciated for the translator training going on right now and wisdom for all involved to bring the Word of God to these peoples orally in these next two years. And that our times at 'home' will be rich and special times with and for family.

A little video about this translation project--that also includes medical and other work--can be seen here

Gavin & Juile

Gavin & Julie live in the south of Gran Canaria where they lead an English-speaking church and ministry. Although English-speaking it is an international ministry to residents and visitors from many different nations.

To most, Gran Canaria is just a holiday island and destination of sun, sea and sand but there is a great spiritual emptiness and need for the good news of Jesus to be shared.

Many relocate there to start a new life in the sun leaving past problems behind but soon realise they have brought the personal problems with them. In addition many of the visitors, although they may be part of a church family back home, find it helpful and easier to talk about issues that they may be embarrassed or afraid to seek advice, help and support with at home.

Gavin & Julie’s desire is to see people’s lives being changed by the grace and love of Jesus.
