“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Stan & Carol

Stan & Carol are serving in Imola, Italy. They can both speak fluent Italian and are experienced missionaries. They are involved in supporting a church plant in Northern Italy called ‘The Rock Church’. Establishing churches in Italy is slow and tough. Much of their work involves building friendships with locals and sharing the love of Jesus with them. Stan preaches in the church and also teaches English to locals. Carol enjoys inviting people to her home and cooking great food! She’s also uses a section of her home as an Airbnb. As a church, we are delighted to be supporting this couple as they bring the Kingdom of God to Imola. Please encourage Stan & Carol by letting them know you are thinking of them.

Zoli & Tanja

Zoli and Tanja live in Sombor and are the leaders of Sombor Christian Fellowship, Serbia. They have two young children, Viktorija and Anastazija. Zoltan, or Zoli as he is known, leads the ministry to men and teenagers in the church and regularly speaks at the Sunday service and prepares material for use in the weekly home groups. Tanja leads the women’s work.

Since unemployment is high in Sombor and there are still many refugees, they are involved in visiting people and distributing humanitarian aid food parcels. They have noticed a sense of apathy among many people, and are passionate to see people experience the love of Jesus and learn to share with others.

Gavin & Juile

Gavin & Julie live in the south of Gran Canaria where they lead an English-speaking church and ministry. Although English-speaking it is an international ministry to residents and visitors from many different nations.

To most, Gran Canaria is just a holiday island and destination of sun, sea and sand but there is a great spiritual emptiness and need for the good news of Jesus to be shared.

Many relocate there to start a new life in the sun leaving past problems behind but soon realise they have brought the personal problems with them. In addition many of the visitors, although they may be part of a church family back home, find it helpful and easier to talk about issues that they may be embarrassed or afraid to seek advice, help and support with at home.

Gavin & Julie’s desire is to see people’s lives being changed by the grace and love of Jesus.

BREAD for Kenya

Founded in 1998, BREAD is a mission organisation which exists to serve the people of Kenya in East Africa. They place particular emphasis on meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poor and disadvantaged. The name stands for Biblical Rural Evangelism and Development. The key projects of BREAD are:

1. Providing finance to help educate disadvantaged children.

2. Providing water tanks to provide homes with clean water. These tanks make a huge difference in a land that suffers from drought.

3. Supporting local evangelists to reach out with the Good News of Jesus. A main part of this work involves preaching the Gospel at open air gatherings in towns and villages.

4. Planting and establishing local churches to see new Christians become devoted followers of Jesus.
